birth trees and birth forests receive a QR tag
Our QR tags follow a birthing tree from the very beginning
In various municipalities and cities you get a birth tree as a newborn. You can plant them in your own garden or a 'birth forest' is created by the municipality or city, where each parent can plant their personal tree.
Plantsoon provides QR labels for birth trees. You get the sustainable picture with the tree. Via the QR code on the picture you go to the digital identity card of the tree you have planned. As a parent, you can take photos of your tree yourself and save them in the digital identity card. This way you can permanently record the growth of the tree as a memory. Did you know that the tree in the identity card is also given the name of the child that was born?
In this way, the municipality of Laakdal brings trees and ecological awareness to its inhabitants
The municipality of Laakdal has been giving birth trees to the children of its municipality for several years now. Parents can choose from a field maple, winter linden or apple tree. The intention is that the parents plant them themselves in their garden. Among other things, the municipality wants to use the potential of private gardens for planting trees. In addition, she hopes to increase the ecological awareness and knowledge of her inhabitants.
33 children born in 2020 received a birth tree with the Plantsoon QR label. In the past two years there were a total of 130 birth and star trees in Laakdal.
