Den Boogerd is creating a cooperative food forest
and informs cooperatives and visitors via the Plantsoon platform
"Plantsoon provides visitors with information about the plants and fruits present and when they can be harvested."
Food, education and recreation
During the winter of '22-'23 den Boogerd will create a food forest of 0.7 ha in Zelem (near Diest). Den Boogerd already has standard apple trees and is now also planting berry, flower and herb beds and other types of fruit in shrubs, low and semi-standard varieties. Together with the adjacent orchards of approximately 1.2 ha, the food forest is open for harvesting, educational and limited recreational and therapeutic activities. Plantsoon provides visitors with information about the plants and fruits present and when they can be harvested.
Co-operation
Everyone gets the chance to invest: den Boogerd provides a cooperative (via Miimosa). As a result, everyone who cares about the environment - individually or companies and organizations - can actively contribute to a healthier and more diverse living environment.
You can make a contribution via the Miimosa platform. Information about share ownership can be found on the website of Den Boogerd.
